About the event

January marks a new year and what better time to get together for our annual employment law and legislative update!  Join us for breakfast, networking, and an engaging presentation on 2024's Employment Law & Legislative Update.

As we head into the new year, the legal landscape shifts and changes.  Some important changes are underway for California employers.  Hear from Jason Geller, partner at Fisher Phillips, who will provide an overview of recent changes to the law that impact employers large and small, starting with compliance with SB 616 that significantly expands sick leave requirements, and SB 553 that requires most California employers to implement workplace violence prevention programs.
