About the event

Now more than ever, employers are facing a hiring crisis. With the massive layoffs due to the pandemic, it is understandable that we employers thought the hiring pool would be huge once we were ready to get back into full swing. But we were wrong. Less workers returned to work after the pandemic and it’s harder to find the quality candidates that employers are craving to hire.

Enter the untapped talent pool of people with disabilities. More often than not, employers overlook people with disabilities as quality candidates or as a way to achieve their DEI goals for the workplace.

Join us for this webinar on meeting your staffing needs and increasing diversity by hiring people with disabilities. This webinar is geared towards HR leaders, and presented by Donna Feingold--a long-time member of the CCCEAC--who is familiar with our needs as employers. Donna will share the benefits of tapping into this hidden talent pool and will also:

  • Debunk common myths associated with hiring people with disabilities
  • Help overcome fears associated with the cost of accommodations
  • Share tips to help you work with people with different abilities
  • Overview the many benefits of diversifying your workforce
  • Outline the local resources that can help you with your staffing needs
